Everything. The staff is always friendly and the location is perfect. I don’t like driving much within the city so I just park at the hotel and they call a taxi. It’s the only place I’ll stay in Thessaloniki.

The staff made us feel very welcomed from the first moment and were super helpful along our stay. The breakfast is superb and the location is excellent. The room was facing to the street so some noise was expected. I also liked how there was a kiosk right outside so very easy to get anything conveniently.

Thessaloniki is a great place for history. it has been a melting pot of different cultures. it has had its tragedies , a fire that destroyed much of the city just over a hundred years ago. There was the rounding up and transportation of Jews to Auchwitz and similar extermination camps. Three Empires ruled Thessalpniki in the past Rome , The Byzantine Empire and the Ottoman Empire. So much to see and do with great food at good prices . Above all very friendly people,

Not much to do if you are staying for more than two or three days. There is some sightseeing, walking around, and very good dining options. its a good stopover point to go visit other areas of Greece though, close to the airport and ferry terminal.

Thessaloniki is a unique city in every respect.
Thessaloniki is a unique city in every respect. I recommend you to walk around the city completely and explore the cafes and restaurants. I recommend you to visit historical squares, architectural works and museums. Especially visit the war museum and the Olympic museum. The exterior of the archaeological museum can be seen free of charge. I think the fee requested for the Macedonian gold section is too high. Have dinner at the tavern (make a reservation). Be sure to try the grilled mushrooms.

Much underrated city that has so much to offer to those interested in culture and history. Late antique Roman sites and early Byzantine churches can match those in Rome, as can the excellent archaeological museum. Not suitable for beach holidays, though (only an unprotected promenade, not a beach), or for people with mobility issues (much walking in hot weather involved).
As far as shopping is concerned, this is second hand/vintage shopping heaven, with lots of shops (so-called "outlets") offering "collections" of imported second hand clothing from Europe at extremely cheap prices.
Also to be recommended is the excellent food. There are cafes with delicious cakes and outdoor sitting everywhere, as are restaurants with traditional Greek food at very reasonable prices, not to mention the street food at every corner.
We had a pleasant stay at Anessis Hotel. It was not our first time here. Rooms were renovated in the past few years (new bathrooms, etc).
Very good location in the city center, just few minutes walk to Vardaris. Nice breakfast and 2 free parking spots right in front of the hotel. That is a big deal in the center of the city.
Excellent value for money if you're looking for one or two nights stay in Thessaloniki. Very nice and welcoming staff, 24h reception, great job guys!

Brand new hotel. Room was clean and very comfortable, the towels and sheets were snow white and soft. The breakfast was super and you can have it whenever you like during the day. The staff was super helpful and polite. They have free parking in front of the hotel. Short walking distance from city center. The best hotel I have stayed in Thessaloniki so far.
Great hotel that exceeded expectations. Very clean rooms, beautiful well-maintained property, absolutely deserving the 5 stars! Breakfast was also quite good and staff very friendly. Outside restaurant / garden offers pleasant evenings and on the weekends there is also a DJ. Highly recommend if you want a comfortable stay in a beautiful place.
Excellent place to stay in Thessaloniki:
Parking available nearby (about 20m away from the hotel entrance) - 15EUR/day.
Room was very clean, delicious breakfast in the morning.
The staff was very friendly and helpful (e.g. got a lot of useful info when we've asked the lady from the reception about nearby restaurants and shopping centers).
Hotel is very centrally located in Thessaloniki. Main door can be accessed with room card. Room is spacious and sparkling clean. We had the luck to have a room at the back side, so no noise disturbances. Great shower and kitchen with refrigerator. Gym is available, but small. Didn’t communicate that much with staff, but they are friendly.
A small hotel in the center of Thessaloniki. I don't know when it was built but it was clean and spotless like out of the box. A very spacious room for three with a spacious bathroom with all the amenities and the appliances working perfectly. Upon arrival they treat you with bottled water and a bottle of wine.
New luxury apartment at the heart of Thessaloniki and a few meters from Parking Plateia. The 5 star hotel where we usually stay during our short visits was fully booked and this apartment did not feel like a downgrade. There are several great breakfast restaurants nearby to choose from.
Beautiful new hotel in the heart of Thessaloniki, walking distance to great restaurants, promenade and shops. Wonderful creative design, exceptionally comfortable. Delicious breakfast, lovely friendly staff, beautiful rooftop terrace. Great quality of every single element.
5 stars for a 3star hotel. Seeing some of the reviews, I was not sure it is worth it, but it exceeded my expectations. Clean, good breakfast, walking distance from town. Would come back and would definitely recommend
A nice boutique hotel located in Thessaloniki city center. Accommodating, friendly and helpful personal. Good location, close to various attractions, sights, restaurants etc. Modern and comfortable room.
It was a real 5 star hotel. Amazing service. Clean and very nice looking. Breakfast was excellent with a big variety of choices. Very friendly helpful staff. Great pool area with bar service.
Great room view, clean and close to the city center, just 15 min walk from the riviera. It was my second time in the hotel and I'll definitely come back next time when in Thessaloniki.
The hotel, the breakfast, the parking (yes, great, no stress), the cleaness, the room design and size, the beds...
